The Beaches
Their are 6 beaches within the Forster/Tuncurry main area:
- Tuncurry Beach, offers excellent surfing throughout most of the year
- The Rockpool, adjacent to Tuncurry Beach offers a safe swimming area, kiosk, picnic area etc.
- Forster Beach, adjacent the southern breakwater in Forster is patrolled in season.
The ocean baths are at its southern edge.
- Pebbly Beach is the next beach along, which is another good surfing spot.
- One Mile Beach is the second most popular surfing spot, with the southern end patrolled in season.
- Burgess Beach is the sourthen most beach in the Forster area with interesting rock formations and safe swimming spots.

The Pebbly Beach Bicentennial Walk
The Pebbly Beach Bicentennial Walk commences off North St, near the ocean baths of Forster
Beach. It leads eastwards over Second Head along the foreshore, between Bennetts Head Rd and
the ocean, past The Tanks, through Bennetts Head Reserve and south past One Mile Beach to
Burgess Beach.
